Internship Scope
We are looking for creative, innovative and ambitious interns in design, manufacturing R&D and marketing.
Job Descriptions:
1. GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Requirements:
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design
Experience: Experience in printing and production is important to spec materials for cost and troubleshoot artwork/printing problems.
Skills: Technical skills in design software like illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop. Able to speak and write good English and Chinese. Designer must know how to communicate visually and verbally to solve problem and organise workflow. Time management in meeting deadline is a must.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and keep up the company brand indentity as well as brainstorm new ideas for the existing and new clients required by design brief. The designer is also required to project budgets and schedules when working with printers, suppliers and aliasing with procurement and production team. Design software capabilities is a must. Additional skills is web based knowledge or video editing is a plus.
DESIGNER/PRODUCT
Requirements:
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Art & Design
Experience: 1-2 years in any creative related field
Skills: Flair for design/artistic skills and knowledge in computer/visualize and interpret in 2D/3D forms and constructive images.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1). Able to work fast & undertake pressure – eg working with tight deadlines.
2). Receive, discuss and understand requirements on Design Brief/Request from other depts/markets.
3). Provide and develop sketch, ideas, concept, visuals, artwork and mock-ups and presentation drawings within lead time given.
4). Make amendments based on feedbacks and comments as and when required by superiors and clients.
5). Participate, contribute ideas, input and solutions in related to design during technical meetings.
6). Upon confirmation of job to work on/do – technical drawings using AutoCad/3D softwares, artworks, 3D drawings, etc…
7). Carry out design assignments required by Superiors on various projects under RS Group of companies.
8). Deal and work with internal depts. to carry out work assignments to ensure meeting with various specifications and requirements are met.
9). Deal with procurement & external suppliers(eg. films, components, etc) to ensure request/requirements and quality are met.
