Tricor Engineering & Trading is a well-established mechanical & electrical engineering company with a 20 year proven track record in Malaysia. We specialize in, but are not limited to, the design, manufacture, sales and service of pumps, electric motors, pressure vessels and water tanks for a wide range of clients across a spectrum of industries, including the process industry, commercial and residential property projects.
Tricor is structured with a Projects division and an Engineering Services division. Our Projects division handles project scale work, including turnkey and EPCC for building systems, water supply (pumps), air-conditioning and electrical systems. We also deal with the construction and commissioning of water containment facilities.
Our Engineering Services division provides ad hoc support and repair/refurbishment services for pumps, tanks, and pressure vessels. We also have an in-house electric motor rewinding section. We have a strong technical expertise not prevalent in today’s ‘wholesale replacement’ market.

Internship Description
Our internship program is targeted at inquisitive engineering students with a business-oriented mind, looking to learn first-hand, about a how a Malaysian engineering business is run. You will be expected to have the following traits:
- willing to work hard, be inquisitive and driven with a personal sense of achievement for a job well done
- have a high level of initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit
- willing to travel on short notice
- willing to work late hours
- be in good physical condition.
